Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA), is a statutory regulatory body established by an Act of Parliament, to promote, develop and regulate Pension sector in India. PFRDA invites Applications from Indian citizens for One (1) post of Deputy General Manager (Grade ‘D’) - (Law) on Deputation basis.

Pay and Allowances : The present applicable PFRDA scale of pay for Deputy General Manager (Grade ‘D’) is Rs.68500-2150(2)-72800 – 2250(6) – 86300 (9 years). Presently, the monthly gross emoluments at the initial stage of the scale of pay work out to Rs. 1,60,500/-approx. (without House Allowance) or Rs. 2,13,000/-approx. (with House Allowance).

Educational qualification and Experience as on 31/05/2018 : 

a) Essential Qualification : Bachelor’s Degree in Law with a minimum of 55% marks or LLM from a recognized university.

Candidates with Doctorate in Law shall be given preference. Research or teaching experience and publication in standard journals will be given preference.

b) Experience as on 31/05/2018 : Candidate must possess not less than 11 years of experience in All India/ Central Civil Service as Group ‘A’ officer or equivalent experience in officer cadre in RBI and other Regulatory Bodies, Statutory Corporations, Banks, PSUs, Financial Institutions and academic institutions.

The experience shall be in the field of ‘Law’ and dealing with problems relating to Pension, Financial sector, Investigation, Finance, Economics, Accountancy and Administration.

**Note : Applications which are incomplete or not as per the specified format, or received after the prescribed date or received without supporting documents in respect of age, educational qualification, experience etc., will be summarily rejected and will not be considered. The candidate needs to submit a brief profile (not exceeding 3 pages) regarding the qualification and experience along with the duly filled application form.

Mode of Selection : Mode of Selection will be Interview. The Competent Authority at any time reserves the right to modify the selection procedure, if deemed fit. If necessitated the Authority reserves the right to shortlist the candidate to be called for interview based on his/her educational qualification, experience and profile. Merely fulfilling the eligibility criteria will not qualify the candidate for the interview and the Authority reserves the right to cancel the process at any time without any notice or compensation to the candidate.
