A Walk-In-Interview for filling up Two (02) post of “Research Associate” and “Junior Research Fellow” for the DBT supported R&D Project entitled, “Generating Awareness and Assessing the Magnitude of Paragonimiasis In Nagaland, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram” at JMCH, Jorhat will be held on 16.07.2018 from 10:00 AM onwards. Intending candidates having requisite qualification may report to the Selection Committee along with duly filled Application form, all Original documents, 2 (two) nos. recent passport size photographs and a set of self-attested copies of certificates and other testimonials.

Duration of the Project : 03 (Three) Years

1. Research Associate (RA)
No. of Post : 01
Monthly Remuneration : Rs, 36,000/- PM + 10% HRA

Essential Qualifications : M.Sc degree or equivalent in Life Science / Molecular Biology with Two Years Post M.Sc Research experience in Medical Field.

Desirable Qualification : (i) Work Experience in Medical Microbiology and Ph.D Degree in Life Sciences.

(ii) Knowledge of Computer Applications or Business Intelligence tools / Data Management.

(iii) Two Years R&D / Teaching experience in relevant subject after obtaining essential qualification.

2. Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
No. of Post : 01

Monthly Remuneration : Rs. 25,000/- PM + 10% HRA for 1st and 2nd Year

                                          Rs. 28,000/- PM + 10% HRA for 3rd Year

Essential Qualifications : M.Sc degree or equivalent (with minimum 55% marks) in Bioinformatics / Life Science / Molecular Biology / Biotechnology or any field with Years Post M.Sc Research experience.

Desirable Qualification : (i) Work Experience in Medical Microbiology.

(ii) Knowledge of Computer Applications or Business Intelligence tools / Data Management.

(iii) Two Years R&D / Teaching experience in relevant subject after obtaining essential qualification.

*Note : Ph.D degree in relevant subjects shall be treated equivalent to three years experience.
