Ministry of New & Renewable Energy (MNRE) proposes to fill up One (01) Post of Director (Solar), Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) Ltd. on Deputation Basis, in accordance with the Rules and Regulations of Solar Energy Corporation of India for recruitment of Director (Solar), SECI and invites applications, through Proper Channel, from Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs) / Central Government (including Armed Forces of the Union/All India Services) / State Public Sector Enterprises (SPSEs) / Private Sector. The appointment for the post has been exempted from the Rule of immediate absorption for a period of 5 Years by the Deptt. of Public Enterprises. The details about Post, required Qualifications, Experience etc. for the Post are indicated below :

Educational Qualification : The Applicant should be an Engineering Graduate preferably in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics/Civil with good academic record from a recognised University/Institute.

Applicants holding MBA/Post Graduate Diploma in Management will have an added advantage.

Experience : The Applicant should have adequate Technical / Operational Experience at a Senior level of Management in an Organisation of repute, out of which at least Five (05) Years during the last Ten Years should have been in power sector.

Preference will be given to candidates having experience in Renewable Energy Sector.

Duration of Appointment : The Appointment shall be for a period of Five (05) Years from the date of Joining or up to the date of Superannuation or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Selection Process : The Screening / short listing of the applicants will be done by the prescribed screening / short listing Committee and selection by conduct of Interview / interaction of the screened candidates by the Search cum Selection Committee prescribed as per rules.
