North Eastern Space Application Centre (NESAC) is an Autonomous body functioning under the Department of Space and North Eastern Council (NEC) to assist development process in North Eastern Region using space science and technology. It undertakes specific application projects using remote sensing, GIS satellite communication and conducting space science research the centre's services are helpful in natural resources management, infrastructure planning health education disaster management and earth observation application mission. NESAC also hosts a one way and two way CDMA ranging station of ISTRAC which operate on a 24x7 basis for supporting the IRNSS Ground Segment operations.

NESAC invites On–Line Application on behalf of ISTRAC for following post, which are temporary in nature but likely to continue :

Pay Scale : Rs. 44,900-1,42,400/- Level 7 (Plus other Admissible Allowances)

Essential & Desirable Qualifications : Diploma with First class in Electronics/ Electronics & Telecommunications Engg. from recognised Institutions/ Board/ University.

Application Fee : Application fees of  Rs. 100/- each is to be paid in the form of a Demand Draft to be issued in Favour of “DIRECTOR, NORTH EASTERN SPACE APPLICATIONS CENTRE” Payable at Umiam.

*Note : All women candidates/Scheduled Castes (SC)/Scheduled Tribes (ST), Ex-serviceman (EX) and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PWBD) candidates are exempted from payment of Application Fee.

After registration take two print outs of the application summary. One print-out of the filled-in online application form along with Rs.100/- Demand Draft should be sent to the following address on or before 23.08.2018, failing which your candidature will be cancelled and another print out is to be brought along with passport size photograph and documents supporting the data furnished in application at the time of Written Test/Skill Test. Please note that site will not be open for printing after 15:00 hours of 15.08.2018. Kindly write clearly your name on the back side of Demand Draft.

Selection Process : The Written Test will be conducted only for the Screened-In candidates. Based on the written test scores, required no. of candidates alone shall be called for skill test. Written Test will be conducted in such a way that theoretical and practical knowledge of the candidate is tested covering both breadth and depth of the prescribed curriculum. The skill test will be purely on ‘go no-go’ basis and marks obtained in the skill test will not be considered for selection. The skill test will be evaluated on a 100-point scale with minimum 60% for qualification. From amongst candidates who qualify in the skill test with minimum 60% marks, emplacement will be done in the order of marks obtained in the written test. In case of a tie in the written scores, the academic scores of the notified qualification will be the tie-breaker.

• Only Indian Nationals need apply
• The Centre reserves the right not to fill-up of the posts, if it so decides.
• Last date for receipt of on-line application will be the cut-off date for all purpose like age, qualification etc.
• No interim correspondence will be entertained. In case of any clarification candidates may send their mail to applications@nesac.gov.in with clearly mentioning the name of the post in the subject of the e-mail otherwise the query may not be responded and NESAC will not be responsible for not responding.
• Candidates should regularly visit the NE-SAC Website www.nesac.gov.in for latest updates on the status of your application.
• Candidates called for Skill Test (as the case may be) will be paid to and fro Second Class sleeper Railway Fare by the shortest distance from the address given in on-line application to the place of interview of non-A/C Bus fare or actual fare whichever is less on production of proof of journey, irrespective of the mode of journey viz., Rail, Bus, Air, etc. No TA will be paid for attending Written Test.
• Corrigendum/addendum, if any, will be published only in NESAC website.
• Selected candidates may have to join the post immediately on being found fit by a Medical Authority.
• “Government strives to have a workforce which reflects gender balance and women candidates are encouraged to apply”.
• Intimation to eligible candidates for Written Test/Skill Test will be sent through E-mail only. For this purpose candidates are required to furnish their E-mail ID correctly and compulsorily while submitting the application.
• Candidates will have to produce original documents in proof of the details furnished in their application at the time of Skill Test for verification. Those who fail to produce the said documents will not be allowed to attend the Skill Test and TA will not be paid.
• Candidates working in Central/State Govt. / Public Sector Undertaking/Autonomous Organisation should bring the No Objection Certificate from the employer at the time of Skill Test.
