Applications are invited from Indian Citizen for the following posts in the Pay Band of Rs 18000/- plus other allowances as admissible to Central Government Employees :

Name of Post : Tradesman Mate

No. of Post : 09 (UR-05, OBC-02, SC-01, ST-01)

Age Limit : 18 to 25 years and Age relaxation as per GOI rules.

Pay Scale : Rs.18,000/- plus allowance applicable

Educational Qualification : Matriculation (10th Class) or equivalent from recognized board and Knowledge of Hindi.

Selection Procedure : 

(i) 1.5 Km run in 6 mins.

(ii) Carrying a weight of 50kgs to a distance of 200 mtr in 100 seconds.

(iii) Physical test is mandatory and those who clear the physical test shall only be permitted to appear for written test

How to Apply : Candidates will forward the application properly sealed, in an envelope to the address mentioned against the post applied for, through ordinary / Registered Post / Speed Post. Application in person will not be accepted.

Documents to be send along with Application Form :

(a) Two passport size photograph duly self attested, one on right corner of application and one on Acknowledgement Card.

(b) Attested copy of following certificates will also be submitted with application :

(i) Educational qualification certificate.

(ii) Date of birth certificate.

(iii) Caste certificate where applicable.

(iv) Discharge certificate for Ex-serviceman or NOC from competent authority for serving Defence Personal who are completing the prescribed period of Army Service within a year from the last date for receiving application.

(v) Details of Aadhar and PAN Card No.

(c) Self addressed envelope affixing postal stamp of Rs 25/-

*Note : Central Government Civilian Employees must furnish “No Objection Certificate’’ from their employer/office at the time of the skill test else their candidature will be cancelled.

**Note : Candidates are requested to superscribe the word “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF THE TRADESMAN MATE’’ and CATEGORY GEN/OBC/SC/ST on the top of envelope while sending the application form.

***Note : Candidate should specifically note that the late delivery of test/examination intimation due to postal delay (such as envelops wrongly addressed, delivered elsewhere etc) will not be entertained and no correspondence will be made on this regard.

****Note : Commanding Officer, 56 Infantry Divisional Ordnance Unit reserves the right to reduce the number of candidates for written examination for any category of post by screening of applications based on a cut off percentage of marks obtained in the examination mandated as essential QR and also “Number of vacancies may increase or decrease at the discretion of Competent authority/appointing auth” due to administrative/tech reason.
